Huma Qureshi

Huma Qureshi (born Huma Saleem Qureshi; 28 July 1986) is an Indian actress, model, and producer who works primarily in Hindi cinema, as well as in South Indian and international productions. She began her acting career in Delhi theatre before moving to Mumbai. Qureshi made her feature film debut as Mohsina Hamid in Anurag Kashyap's crime films *Gangs of Wasseypur – Part 1* and *Part 2* (2012). Her subsequent films include the supernatural thriller *Ek Thi Daayan* (2013), the espionage action film *D-Day* (2013), the black comedy *Dedh Ishqiya* (2014), the neo-noir revenge drama *Badlapur* (2015), and the Marathi road drama *Highway* (2015). She also appeared in the courtroom comedy *Jolly LLB 2* (2017), Malayalam drama *White* (2016), historical drama *Viceroy's House* / *Partition: 1947* (2017), Tamil action drama *Kaala* (2018), and Tamil action thriller *Valimai* (2022). Qureshi played Shalini in Deepa Mehta's dystopian drama series *Leila* (2019) and Chief Minister Rani Bharti in the political drama series *Maharani* (2021–present). She made her Hollywood debut in Zack Snyder's zombie heist thriller *Army of the Dead* (2021), played the title role in the neo-noir film *Monica, O My Darling* (2022), and portrayed Tarla Dalal in the biopic *Tarla* (2023). She also starred in the psychological thriller series *Mithya* (2022–2024). Her later work includes the investigative drama *Bayaan* (2025), action thriller *Maalik* (2025), slice-of-life comedy *Single Salma* (2025), *Jolly LLB 3* (2025), social drama *Gulabi* (2026), thriller *Pooja Meri Jaan* (2026), and gangster action film *Toxic* (2026).
