Thank you to Lydia Gouardo for appearing on LEGEND. She came to share her story: starting at age nine, she was raped and held captive by her father. Her ordeal lasted 28 years and resulted in the birth of seven children. It was in 1999, upon her father's death, that Lydia was able to escape and begin a normal life. She explained to us the challenges of starting one's real life at the age of 37.
